The Great Repair is an exhibition with an event series at the Academy of Arts Berlin that explores repair as a new design and societal practice. More than 40 contributions from architecture, art and spatial practices demonstrate how social, ecological and economic crises can be addressed through strategies of repair.

Stan Hema develops the visual identity and exhibition design for The Great Repair. Following the success of the exhibition in Berlin, The Great Repair is presented at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal in Paris and at the Form/Design Center in Malmö.

To accompany the exhibition at Akademie der Künste Berlin, two issues of ARCH+ are published, for which Stan Hema is responsible for the editorial design. The first volume ARCH+ 250 provides a theoretical introduction to the topic. The second volume (ARCH+ 253 presents concrete practices of repair and is published as the exhibition catalogue.
