Culture
The information society has transformed knowledge into an industry of its own – production and exchange are subject to economic structures. But shouldn't knowledge rather be a common good that enables social progress? How do we learn today? Is consuming information enough? Are universities still good places for learning? And what defines a good learning environment?
Our editorial design continues the spatial inquiries of ARCH+ 249. The aesthetic follows classic book topographies of knowledge transmission, while a printed register serves as the foundation for dynamic layouts. The boundaries of individual double pages are broken – learning does not happen linearly but through playful interaction with the design space.
