The concept of art without admission tickets turn it into an experience for everyone. The idea comes from the Nationalgalerie and is supported by Volkswagen AG. They open the doors to Hamburger Bahnhof free of charge for 4 hours on the 4th day of the week in every 4th week and fill the time with performances, readings, artists’ talks and public guided tours. A concept that calls for a clear visual statement. We provide it: 4 is the programme, key visual and communication idea. That is how we send an unambiguous message on posters, flyers and in the public domain. Art for you. And us. For everyone. Free and indoors as well as outdoors.
For me, language is a design element that’s on par with the visual components. Words behave exactly the same as them: if there’s a strong idea behind them, they’re more than just decoration.
