Challenge
A new online presence for one of the world's most renowned orchestras: the Berliner Philharmoniker.
Result
An accessible and elegant website design that combines storytelling with an improved user experience.
We design an elegant website for the Berliner Philharmoniker: Our UI design provides ample space for editorial content, improves the user experience when searching for concerts, and meets the highest accessibility standards.
Elegant and Accessible
The new online presence puts the orchestra at the centre and brings the brand personality to life in the digital space. We harmonise the brand's confident and dynamic character with accessibility. Our design focuses on readability, clear contrasts, and simple navigation and usability. It appears both easy to use and elegant.
Improved Concert Search
Part of the new website is the revamped concert search. We improve the user experience and appeal to new target groups by offering visitors different ways to find the right event. Specific searches by time period, theme, or keyword are now just as possible as being inspired by the calendar.
Multimedia Storytelling
Multimedia deep dives invite visitors to explore the world of the Berliner Philharmoniker. Visitors can delve into background information about the orchestra and learn more about the musicians, composers, concerts, or the architecture and history of the Philharmonie Berlin.
Our UI design translates the corporate design by Creative Director Oliver Helfrich and Strategist Cecilia Martin into the digital realm. The technical implementation of the website was carried out by our colleagues at SkyGate.
